What's News?

My best friends moved away. =(

I try and see it as a fresh start; a chance to re-invent.

I'm going to be a godmother. =)

Though it's hard to fall asleep, I have several dreams worth remembering every night.

I'm dating a fair amount.

I'm attending a new ward come Sunday.

I finally bought a large dry erase board, for goals, inspired by Josephus'

I have a gym membership which brings me great satisfaction and a venue for aggression.

I set up an EDA (Electronic Debit Account) for paying off my student loans.

There is some money in my bank account AND I have new clothes.

My car has a current registration, new wiper-blades, and two working headlights.

I finished painting my toe-nails black.

I bought plane tickets for Christmas.

I get homesick and want to go skiing.

I teach music part-time at a pre-school, and it's wonderful.

I have some new violin students.

Mark Oshida noted that I am "so on top of things."

Thanks so much for your phone call! It seriously made my day. I was walking out of a concert, and I was trying to tell someone else from orchestra that was walking by how exciting it was that you were talking on my phone! I don't know if they quite understood just how great it was. Everything went well. No complaints from this end (though I still think I'll wait a bit to listen to the CD). Love you tons!

ha! I LOVE this post. So many things to comment on. . . I'm such a fan of goals - can't wait to celebrate with you for making them . . . have you ever heard of nike+? It's the most motivating thing I've ever bought to keep me working out. We could run together if you got it. It sounds like you have money. sigh. I remember one day long ago when I had money, and new clothes, and wiper blades that worked. I really miss the new clothes sometimes. :) I'm so glad you are posting. Can we hang out when you come back for christmas?

Weird thing...I read your post this morning, and later on today I was listening to a song on my new Alison Krauss CD and thought of you. It just seemed like a song that maybe you would like. It's got violin and cello playing and the lyrics are kind of bitter sweet type dramatic. It's called "Get me through December" I don't know if you know much about Alison Krauss, but she is one of my favorite muscians. She has immaculate pitch, clear angelic voice and incredible talent on the fiddle. She knows her craft. She's also won more grammys than any other female artist ever. Anyway, just a song going out to you today:)
